What a day!!! 8/8/08 The Day of New Beginnings. The opening of the 29th Olympics was awesome. Now all the athletes hard work pays off. They're going for the gold.
I wish all of them could get gold medals! Sometimes I feel so sorry for the ones who come so close, but don't make it. But...it is something to be able to just make it to the competitions.
