I love listening to the birds early morning in my backyard.  they bring me such joy. Thank you God for all your creations.

Sunshine Bag Day 2 and 3

day 3 book Keep Calm and Trust God Proverbs 4:11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom, I have led thee I right paths.  I read the chapter on frustration this morning. the Bible's weapon against frustration is maintaining gratitude and a lifestyle of thanksgiving.
i am grateful for friends - my BFF called me last night, her Logos Word - Prosper.
i am grateful for DIL - bless her Lord for gifting me these 9 days of sunshine
i am grateful it is raining today
i am grateful i am up and out of bed able to do somethings
i am grateful hubby calls to check on me every day
i am grateful i have three wonderful sons
i am grateful God is never changing
i am grateful Jesus loved me more than i could ever express
i am grateful i can ask for wisdom from the Lord and He gives it.

Sunshine Bible Verse Bag

I hadn't seen my sweet DIL for some time. she has been busy helping her mom since her father passed away on Dec 10. tonight she gave me this Sunshine Bag.

and told me to follow the directions on it. I opened my first day bag and read 2 Corinthians 5:7 Walk by Faith not by sight. and enclosed were my favorite gloves in my favorite color. how exciting is this!! well I will be putting this in my journal.

and the sweet letter explaining it all .

Thorns Of Love At The Cross

HKC-TMD February Theme Love - week 1 God's Love John 3:16 my pocket heart will hold my Logos Tag - Trained plus as I study for the week 4 tags will be journaled what I learn. one is a remembrance of my accepting Christ at 12 yrs. old.  love the thorny recycled envelope flower and my cloth cross. the green edging is masking tape. and I printed out the verse on adhesive-backed fabric.

my fun love journal tags. lots of medium + ribbon, lace, washi tape, stamps, duck tape, fabric, butterfly packing tape - so much fun, fun.  thank you God for creativity.

my fabric journal page for HKC-TMD4 - Purposefully using 2 hearts, embroidery floss, paper puzzle piece, and a patch work square.

the king's crown and bubbles were added using underpaper. my original idea just would not come together.

sheer joy to add to my painting hanging on my art studio wall - DLP Challenge to use underpaper from my table.

here is the original plan in my Dylusions journal.  it will have to be finished at a later date. and who says every challenge has to stay in my journal. the lighting bug catcher now feels complete.

Faithful - Covenant

here is HKC-TMD week 4 - Faithfulness. i was reminded of the rainbow covenant God made after the flood. my daily Bible reading is going great so are - i have been able to get up first thing and read then ponder throughout the day God's Word.

this fabric journal page was created by adding a black fabric with four squares of Shiva paintstixs for my base (they are so shimmery, love it), then placed my handmade teesha moore-style pillows on each block. added two flying geese, white acrylic paint stamp word, deepened with Uniball signo white pen. and left the thread of red running down the side to remind me of what Jesus did for me so i could have eternal life.
