Imagine That W/ Color

wk 2 - charcoal pencil, oil pastels, gesso

i'm learning not to get anxious but

enjoy following directions.

a break-in

today has been an interesting day. our neighbors, son and DIL's home was broken into. oh the things you have to go through to work through this - police investigation, realizing all the things stolen, someone has breached your security of homelife, changing/closing all accts, repairing the door and securing it quickly, and then there's the let down - realizing someone has gone through all your personal belongings and thrown them everywhere.

But the greatest blessing - they were not home and are safe. i am grateful for God's protection!

Sheers 2 U

here is another remix of my art for Strathmore Visual Journal Workshop1.

i am already loving this class - working in black and white.

this from two remixed art journal pages.

Reading Thru BIBLE

i committed myself to reading through the Bible again this year. can you imagine God became so saddened by his creation of mankind that He destroyed most through a flood bc of all the violence and imagination of man? sounds like today, nothing has changed. But for me personally what has changed is my love more and more for Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate sacrifice for mankind to have eternal life. i once was blind but now i see and see clearly. how about you?

Remix Art

from this
to this

I joined Strathmore Visual Journal Workshops. it just started so hop on over and join.
Pam Carriker is teaching the first workshop of three.
Remix Art - interesting.

first i copied black/white copies of my art. then cut up some and chose a new layout.
placed them on Stratmore 140 lb watercolor paper. week one accomplished.

and

that has led me to another artist's suggetion to check out
millande's art journal 2011.
