Phone Background

my son loved this crazy face i created so much he uses him for his phone background. i love shadows.

yestereday was my bday and it was so wonderful with all my family together. today would have been my FIL's 87th bday.  we miss him more than ever. but reflect on all the memories we do have of him.

Gardenia Blooms

in my garden - lots of beautiful buds everywhere. not much creating art but tons of photos being taken. company up  from florida, love visiting and doing things i usually don't get to do - explore.

Wedding Art

this is my large canvas wedding gift to my son and dil on their special day. we danced to 'My Wish' during the son/mother dance. a very memorable time for me. the art piece now hangs in their bedroom.

It's Official

 i now have a wonderful daughter birthed through marriage. the wedding came together on saturday and what a glorious day to celebrate two great, fantastic young people that delayed, prayed, received counseling and prepared for the rest of their lives together.   family, friends near and far came to celebrate!

i awoke

at 2:30am this morning to a beautiful sound - the sound of rain gently, but steadily falling outside my window. it felt fresh and clean, the dust of the earth will be moist and fully aware to take in all the nutrients it needs to flourish. and i'm aware of all the beauty inside myself that has been imprisoned for so long.  i choose to release me and let it fly, soar to higher purposes, visions and deeper commitments to my soul, body and mind. i choose
