Inner Breath Challenge

to use only warm colors for my painting. i decided to lay on my exercise ball and paint using my art journal on the floor. it started out as a tree with portals below.
and finished as a She releasing the black birds from one portal. She holds the keys to Release.
i didn't feel restricted at all using only warm colors. the three keys each represent my sons. black birds come through in Spring and Fall landing in our trees - for only a short time they fill the trees with their flutter, flurry and chatter.

The Perfect Guest

Day 30 - 40 days In God's Presence
The Perfect Guest
First I want to say I am so grateful for being able to walk and see God's beauty. Today I heard a hammering sound in the top of a tree. There working his way up the tree was a red-headed woodpecker. And across the street were a flock of black birds on the ground - now that was one happy ground covering. You can't hear grass grow like those jabbering black birds on the ground.
I, of course, found my coin on the ground. God placed a song in my heart this morning about how thankful I am he changed me.
My dog and I walked along and just enjoyed the beauty all around. To see, to hear, to smell, to touch, to feel the Love Of the Lord.
