Sign of the Times

Dream Home - St Croix - The Crab

The sign Diane was born under - Cancer

My art page for Dream Homes Round Robin to Diane. Her birth sign is Cancer. So her page is in the shape of a crab. The claws will fold down into the 8" page format we are working in. I guess its not cheating as long as it can fold in. Is it? She shared her favorite vacation experience was in St Croix. I could feel her excitement as she shared this wonderful story and told of the place where she stayed. I call this place The Birthing Room. Its where all her creative ideas dwell and where they are fulfilled. So much beauty and love in this room, full of new life and birthing of dreams. The oyster shell has birthed a beautiful pearl in Diane. Its an underwater world of adventure. We are glad you were born Diane.

LIFE CRISIS

I know every family has a crisis of some kind. And to be honest right now my heart is being ripped out BUT i know the Creator of the Universe and He has the final say in it all.

Thank you to all who have prayed for my oldest son finding a job. He has accepted a teacher assistant job with a Montessori school. The pay may not be much but the reward in developing and loving a child is beyond the pay. His dad and i went down to his home to bless him by taking him to grocery shop for good food to eat. While in Walmart I felt compelled to buy this book:

The Power of Your Words-How God Can Bless Your Life Through The Words You Speak.

What was even more amazing is that I had heard this preacher speaking the day before on tv. When i picked this book up i did not realize it was this same preacher. NOW GOD has my attention.

One quote from Dorothy Nevill says this and I find it worth pondering:

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing in the right place but to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

TO GOD be all glory and praise because HE knows everything. I will walk through rejoicing in HIS victory.

Dove, what sweet words to hear...that God has answered prayer for your son and his job.
Now, for prayer for your burdon...I will as soon as I finish this post and I know God will get you through this situation and I pray for His peace on you too!
Your page is delightful...I'm sure Diane will enjoy it!
As for this book...I'm going to head out to my local WalMart in search of it...sounds wonderful!
Thanks for sharing!
You are always in my thoughts and prayers, my sister in Christ!

Hugs,
Noel
