Coarsegold, CA dotee

Constance sent me this cute little icicle shape dotee from a FAT trade. Along with dotee came info about the Coarsegold area. It is a small town in the foothills of Yosemite National Park. They have mild winters with rain and a little snow. Warm spring days full of green and wild flowers. They have very hot dry summers and by end of May everything is brown with the ground rock hard. Fall brings the turning of the tree's colors and if they are lucky they have rain. I love all the information we learn by participating in groups.

I can just imagine a beautiful green, lush field full of wild flowers blooming. Can't you!
